Hollywood Actor sues Maker of Accutane Seeking $11 Million
in Damages for Loss of Colon
Actor James Marshall, who played U.S.
Marine Louden Downey in the 1992 hit movie "A Few Good Men," has sued the pharmaceutical
company Hoffman-La Roche for damages as a result of taking Accutane. Marshall suffered
the loss of his colon after taking the company's Accutane acne drug, which has been
linked to causing IBD, Crohn's Disease and other gastrointestinal problems.
